Some Important Announcements |
A reminder to scorekeepers and managers to make sure that you enter the number of EFOA referees present at each game onto the gamesheet. We need to ensure that these refs get paid, and this is our ONLY way of knowing how many refs were in attendance. Thanks! |
Click Here for a .pdf file outlining the rule changes for 2008. This is a document that was recently put out by the EFOA and is vital information for all coaches. |

Eskimos Host a Day for the Fans
The Edmonton Eskimos will be hosting their annual Fan Day on Saturday, June 6th at Clarke Stadium from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Fan Day is taking another step further in family fun by incorporating an interactive “Punt, Pass, Kick” station set up right on Clarke field. Participants will have a chance to punt, pass and kick at three stations run by Eskimo quarterbacks Ricky Ray, Lester Ricard and Jared Zabransky and kicker/punters Noel Prefontaine and Derek Schiavone. Each participant’s distances will be recorded and prizes will be handed out for longest distance and other milestones.
In-depth “Chalk Talks” will be taking place in the grand stands where coaches will go over some elements of the game. Three sessions will happen throughout the day with an open mike portion for fans to ask the coaches questions. The three sessions will cover Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams aspects of the game. In between each session will be a brief Cheer Team performance.
Fans can learn from the best cheer team in the CFL as the Eskimo Cheer Team is holding clinics throughout the day. Fans will have a chance to learn cheer motions and a current game day cheer, basic stunting techniques and one of the current sideline dances.
Of course the final hour of Fan Day will be dedicated to an autograph session with the 2009 Edmonton Eskimos.

We are currently in the early stages of putting together a "CDMFA History Page" for the league's website. We need the assistance of those of you who have been involved over the years.
For those of you who are our "grizzled vets", do you have information on dates, people, history, etc. as to how our league was formed, how it evolved from its predecessor leagues, histories of our individual Member Associations, photographs, or anything that you think could be of assistance? If so, we need your help. Even anecdotes from the past would be useful.
Please forward this information by clicking here and enclosing it in an email.
Thanks!
