The Wolverines Football Club was formed in 2000 and played our first Bantam season in 2001. We serve the needs of Bantam and Midget aged players in the County of Strathcona. Our objectives are:

* Play competitive football in the Capital District Minor Football Association (CDMFA).
* Learn and develop beginning and advanced football skills.
* Practise good sportsmanship and citizenship skills.
* Learn, develop and practise leadership skills.
* Achieve personal and team goals in a team environment.
* Develop positive self esteem and physical conditioning.
* Renew old friendships, and establish new ones.
* Have a positive football experience.
* Have Fun!



The Wolverine philosophy has always been to be a parent-driven organization that puts the needs of our players first and foremost. On-field success is, of course, always a laudable goal, and one that we strive to achieve. But an even more important goal is to develop our young athletes in the areas of both teaching on-field football skills and striving to teach our players good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
