Major Payoff Lottery Rules

Raffle Licence Number 281074

  1. Lower age limit to purchase tickets is 18 years of age at the date of purchase. The purchase must be made in the Province of Alberta.
  2. There will be no refunds on sold tickets. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
  3. Each individual ticket will be sequentially numbered, with the purchaser retaining the main portion of the ticket and the CDMFA retaining the stub. The purchaser’s name, address and telephone will be recorded on the stub. In the case of two or more names written on the stub, the fist name shall be considered the winner. In the event of a conflict between the name printed on the stub and the number on the actual ticket (i.e. if one claimant claims the prize based on his name being printed on the stub and a different person claims the prize based on matching the number of the ticket against that on the stub) the prize shall be awarded to the person whose name appears on the ticket stub. CDMFA and ALGC will not be responsible for any disputes arising between different individuals whose names may appear on a single ticket stub.
  4. The minimum number of tickets that must be sold before the lottery is cancelled or an extension is requested is 1,000.
  5. The order in which prizes will be drawn will be by ascending order in value. After each prize is awarded, the winning ticket will be returned to the drum and will be eligible to win additional prizes.

The draw will take place under the supervision of the Ticket Manager with two members of the Executive of CDMFA and three members of the public not associated with CDMFA to witness each draw. Draws are open to the public. Anyone wishing to witness the draw may do so by presenting themselves at the above location on the draw date.
